It includes a collection of unique essays grounded in an intersectional framework of allyship through grief that will allow for unique voices and narratives in grief, and explores the ways that grief is a broad-ranging concept including in political and cultural contexts, with an exploration of various international events that have been causes of grief and have shaped higher education and society at-large.

Encyclopedia of Queer Studies in EducationQueer studies is an extensive field that spans a range of disciplines. This volume focuses on education and educational research and examines and expounds upon queer studies particular to education fields. It works to examine concepts, theories, and methods related to queer studies across PK-12, higher education, adult education, and informal learning. Additionally, the volume takes an intentionally intersectional approach, with particular attention to the intersections of white supremacist cisheteropatriachy. It includes well-established concepts with accessible and entry-level explanations, as well as emerging and cutting-edge concepts in the field. It is designed to be used by those new to queer studies as well as those with established expertise in the field.

Academic Mothering: Fabulating Futures for Higher EducationInspired by those who mothered before and through the COVID-19 pandemic, this is a book about, for, and with those who live different embodiments of academic mothering—mothers, othermothers, academic mothers, and mothering academics. In this book, mothering is defined broadly, encompassing those who are biologically or legally mothers with children; those who are “not-mother” but who nonetheless understand and practice mothering; those who do identify as mothers but not as women; and all those who take on mothering roles in academia and beyond.
